Andrew Samith is a dedicated public servant and a proud resident of Foster County for over two decades. With a deep-rooted commitment to his community, Andrew has consistently worked towards improving the lives of his fellow North Dakotans.

Having grown up in the heart of Foster County, Andrew understands the unique challenges and opportunities that the region faces. His experience as a community leader, coupled with his passion for public service, has shaped his priorities and vision for the county’s future.

Andrew is a strong advocate for supporting local agriculture, recognizing its vital role in the economy and culture of Foster County. He believes in promoting sustainable farming practices, securing funding for rural infrastructure, and advocating for fair trade policies to ensure the prosperity of local farmers and ranchers.

In 2010, Andrew decided to take his commitment to public service to the next level by running for political office. With a platform centered on supporting local agriculture, improving education, ensuring affordable healthcare, and promoting economic growth, he was elected as the representative for Foster County in the North Dakota State Legislature.

By investing in border security, we can protect our communities, prevent illegal immigration, and combat drug trafficking and other criminal activities..

Law Enforcement

Law enforcement plays a critical role in keeping our communities safe and upholding the rule of law. I believe in supporting our law enforcement officers and providing them with the resources and training they need to effectively serve and protect our communities. At the same time, we must work to build trust and accountability between law enforcement and the communities they serve, ensuring fair and equitable treatment for all.

Public Eduction

Every child deserves access to a high-quality education, regardless of their zip code or background. I am committed to strengthening our public education system by increasing funding for schools, supporting teachers, and expanding access to early childhood education and vocational training programs. By investing in our children's future, we can empower the next generation to succeed and thrive.

In the face of natural disasters and emergencies, it's imperative that we come together to support those affected and rebuild stronger, more resilient communities. I am committed to advocating for robust disaster relief funding and resources to ensure that communities have the support they need to recover and rebuild in the aftermath of disasters.
